Home remedies for Type 2 Diabetes mellitus.


In this blog, there are few simple home remedies which can help reduce blood sugar level and detoxify. This will be helpful for people who are pre-diabetic and diabetic.

Juice of Indian Gooseberry


Method of preparation - 1

Ingredients
  • Indian gooseberry - 2 or 3 in no.
  • Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
  • Curry leaves -  1 or 2.
  • Green chilli - Quarter inch.
  • Salt - 1/2 Teaspoon.
  • Water - 2 cups.

Before preparation make sure the ingredients are well cleaned. Cut the pulp of Indian gooseberry and discard the seeds. In a mixer, take all the ingredients as per the quantities mentioned. Add water and salt. After proper mixing, strain the content and extract the juice. You can discard the remaining fine pulp.

Method of Preparation - 2

Ingredients
  • Indian gooseberry - 2 or 3 in no.
  • Turmeric powder - 1 Pinch
  • Honey - 2 Teaspoon
  • Water - 2 Cups
After washing, chop the Indian gooseberries into small pieces and remove the seed. In a mixer Add 1 Pinch of turmeric powder and 2 cups of water along with cut pieces of Indian gooseberries. After blending, strain the contents  and extract juice. Then add 2 Teaspoons of honey before serving.

Powder of Fenugreek, Ajwain and Black cumin


Method of preparation

Ingredients
  • Fenugreek- 250 gram
  • Ajwain- 100 gram
  • Black cumin- 50 gram
Fry Fenugreek, Ajwain and Black cumin separately in a frying pan for 5 minutes in low flame without oil. Allow them to cool for 10 minutes. Grind the ingredients separately. Then mix all the powders together and keep it in an airtight container.

Those who are diabetic can consume 1 teaspoon at night  after dinner with lukewarm  water. If you are pre-diabetic, it's better to consume half a teaspoon after dinner with lukewarm water. Ensure your blood glucose level is within the normal range while consuming the powder.

Juice of Bitter melon


Method of preparation

Ingredients
  • Bitter melon-1
  • Water-2 cups
  • Lemon juice- 2 Teaspoon
  • Ginger- Small piece
  • Honey- 2 Teaspoon
In a blender, add cleaned and chopped Bitter melon pieces, Ginger and a little bit of water. Blend well till it becomes smooth. Add more water, lemon juice and honey and  rinse again. After proper mixing, strain the content if needed.
